MAKEXAFRICA Foundation’s research and advocacy work is driven by one clear mission: turning community realities into policy change that delivers justice. Through rigorous research, strategic advocacy, and direct engagement with local leaders, youth, women, and policymakers, we connect grassroots voices to decision-makers—transforming lived experiences and field data into bold, inclusive policy action. We collaborate with academic institutions, both nationally and internationally, to ensure our research meets high standards of credibility, relevance, and impact.
But we do not stop at generating reports. We actively compel policymakers and implementers to use our evidence—especially on sexual and gender-based violence, harmful cultural practices, and the plight of marginalized groups—to push for equitable service delivery and the fair application of laws. For us, knowledge is not an end in itself; it is a tool for accountability, dignity, and measurable change in the lives of the communities we serve.
