Makexafrica Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020 in Uganda. We promote public-health and climate solutions, directly engaging grassroots communities and policy makers/enforcers through research and advocacy.
Our Objectives
Promote research and advocacy to improve access to climate and health awareness focusing on food security, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, and sustainable water
Promote research and advocacy to improve hands-on climate-smart entrepreneurial skilling
Promote skills and knowledge transfer through a global internship and volunteer exchange program
Promote research and advocacy linkages between climate and gender-based violence and harmful cultural practices
Promote national policy change/action through direct engagement and dissemination of research evidence targeting policy makers, policy enforcers, academia, and civil society activists
